Type your password in the dial-up connection window and click "Connect".

You may hear dialing and noise from the modem (the "handshake"), then see a "verifying password" window. A small icon that looks like two linked computers should appear near the clock, indicating that you're connected.

To disconnect without closing the program, right-click on the small icon, then click "Disconnect".
Changing your password

New clients are encouraged to change their password once familiar with the new connection.

To change your password on the Community Network system at any time (when connected), click the "Change Password" link on niagara.becon.org. Type in your login & current password when requested, then follow instructions.

Remember that this instructs the Community Network servers to change your password. If you have chosen to tell your computer to "remember" or "save" your password, you will need to retype the password on your own computer if you change it on the server.
