If you have checked to ensure that the settings on your computer match those in the instructions but are still having difficulties, the Helpdesk is available to assist with Internet-related problems. You can email or call the Helpdesk.

BEC offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Watch the Home Page for holiday closure notices.

The Helpdesk is staffed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 1:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can leave a message any time at 905-684-7200 ext. 1310. Helpdesk staff will return your message as soon as possible.

If you need to call the Helpdesk, please:

* provide your name and login (username), and ensure that you leave a telephone number

* be prepared to describe details of the nature of the problem; it is particularly helpful if you can determine a pattern

* ensure that you have a telephone near your computer. Most troubleshooting can be done offline, but you need to be able to check settings on your computer while speaking to Helpdesk staff.
